Wow Factors

PFW Password - Spring 2008John Andersen has worked in the agricultural and heavy equipment distribution industry for two decades and is one of the industry’s most passionate and unique voices. As PFW Evangelist, John visits with prospects, customers, manufacturers and trade associations throughout North America to share his insight and excitement about PFW IntelliDealer.

Just in case you haven’t had the chance to catch his PFW IntelliDealer demo for yourself, you can check out his top-8 PFW IntelliDealer wow factors along with his thoughts on each feature below:

1. eServices
PFW eServices allows you to extend your dealership’s services via the Internet. For your customers’ convenience, eServices offers around-the-clock ability to electronically access their account and equipment information, perform service scheduling, order parts and print out copies of individual invoices. With the addition of PFW eMerchandise, eServices even allows you to set up and maintain your own online store.

“PFW eServices creates and fosters a connection between dealerships and their customers to help improve customer loyalty and retention.” – John Andersen

2. Management Central
PFW IntelliDealer’s Management Central allows dealership management to view accurate, real-time data in the form of easy-to-understand graphs and pie charts that provide analysis of critical data relating to customers, parts, equipment, service and financial records.

“Quite simply, Management Central pushes information to the people that really need to see it in the dealership.”

3. Customer Portal
The Customer Portal is a customizable, single-screen dashboard that integrates all information concerning a customer onto one screen showing Dealers everything they need to know about that customer.

“The Customer Portal gives everyone in the enterprise a truly global view of their customers.”

4. Sales Support Portal
A customizable, single-screen dashboard similar to the Customer Portal, the Sales Support Portal allows salespeople to better understand their customers by providing all the critical data relating to their customers on one integrated screen.

“The Sales Support Portal keeps salespeople focused on their customers by letting them see what really matters to them.”

5. IntelliTech
IntelliTech is a browser-based time management and information system that streamlines processes for service technicians, empowering them in their ability to more effectively perform their jobs.

“IntelliTech was created to protect service technician’s time – which is an incredibly valuable resource to the dealership and can’t be recovered if wasted.”

6. MobileTech
MobileTech is a streamlined, wireless version of IntelliTech that allows service technicians who are in the field to utilize many aspects of IntelliTech on a handheld device. (For more information on MobileTech, make sure to check out Back in Time on page 6.)

“MobileTech manages a technician’s work when they are disconnected – disconnected from their dealership, their service bay, their co-workers and their Dealership Management System.”

7. GPS Integration
With PFW IntelliDealer’s QUALCOMM GlobalTracs Solution and Longview Ad-
vantage vShepherd / FleetReach interfaces, users can utilize GPS (Global Positioning System) technology to view the current location of their equipment, the hours on the unit as well as the history of each machine’s movements over a user-defined period of time.

“GPS integration with PFW IntelliDealer’s Service and Rental modules allows Dealers to monitor their assets while still in the system. That is why it’s called GPS Integration… because they never have to leave the system.”

8. Marketing Campaigns
As part of PFW IntelliDealer’s Customer Care application, the Marketing Campaigns module allows Dealers to easily stay in touch with their customers and contacts by selecting correspondence by mail, e-mail or fax. (For details on the latest additions to the Marketing Campaigns module, see our cover story.)

“In my experience, 8-out-of-10 Dealers don’t focus their marketing on retaining newly acquired customers. The Marketing Campaigns module is so simple, it should be used to entice new customers to return to the dealership – whether it is with a simple thank you, a coupon, a reminder or a promotion.”
